Flora Forte Case Settles for $3,000

On November 10, 2010, a case was settled with Flora Forte for selling non-compliant reed diffusers into California that were subject to the 18 percent by weight VOC limit for liquid/pump spray air freshener, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a).  The reed diffusers did not have the date of manufacture or a code indicating such a date displayed on the containers or packaging as required in section 94512 (b) Administrative Requirements, Product Dating. The company paid $3,000 to settle the case.
