Upcoming Regulatory Training Webinar on Clean Truck Check for Public Fleets
Categories
The California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) invites public fleets, including local, state, and federal entities, transit agencies, service contractors, universities, and school districts, to participate in a regulatory training webinar on the requirements of Clean Truck Check, also known as Heavy-Duty Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance (HD I/M). Vehicle owners, operators, fleet managers, technicians, maintenance staff, and emission testers are recommended to participate.
This regulatory training webinar will clarify the regulation details for public fleets. The three salient points are: Does the fleet/vehicle have a non-gasoline combustion engine? Are the vehicles more than 14,000 GVWR? Will the fleet/vehicle operate in California? If the answer to all three of these questions is yes, then the regulation is likely to apply. Clean Truck Check registration and fee collection is projected to begin in October. This regulatory training webinar, and the Clean Truck Check website, can help fleets prepare for each new compliance phase.
