3. September 12, 2024, Joint EJAC/CARB Board Meeting Debrief

• EJAC to debrief on outcomes from the Low Carbon Fuel Standard, Cap-and-Trade, and Carbon Capture, Use and Storage and Direct Air Capture joint EJAC/CARB Board Meeting discussion and provide considerations for future meetings.

4. EJAC Charter Revisions Discussion and Next Steps

• CARB to provide an overview of proposed EJAC Charter revisions.
• EJAC to discuss the Charter Revisions Process and next steps.

5. EJAC Discussion on the Cap-and-Trade Program Recommendations

• EJAC to present their draft Cap-and-Trade Program recommendations and Resolution language to hear comments and ideas from the committee ahead of finalizing in a future EJAC public meeting.

6. Public Comment

• CARB opens the public comment period and invites Zoom and in-person public comments.

7. Next Steps and Closing Remarks 

• EJAC to discuss next steps for 2024 meeting preparation.
