The Clean Energy and Pollution Reduction Act of 2015 (Senate Bill 350) directs the California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board), in coordination with the California Public Utilities Commission and California Energy Commission, to establish 2030 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets for the electricity sector and electricity providers. In March 2021, CARB released the Senate Bill 350 Integrated Resource Planning Electricity Sector GHG Planning Targets: 2020 Update. The 2020 Update incorporates comments received during the two-week public comment period that followed publication of the Draft report on November 9, 2020.
