Nor-Cal Produce, Inc. Case Settles for $32,550

In February 2010, Nor-Cal Produce, Inc. agreed to pay $32,550 in penalties for violating air quality regulations; $24,412.50 to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, $8,137.50 to the Peralta Community College District for distribution to participating California Council on Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) colleges.  An ARB investigation showed that Nor-Cal Produce, Inc. failed to submit a one-time report for their transport refrigeration units (TRU) at their facility, as required by 13 CCR, Section 2477 (f)(2)(A).  ARB documented these violations as they related to TRU facility reporting.  To settle this case Nor-Cal Produce, Inc. agreed to pay the $32,550 penalty and to comply with TRU and other ARB regulations.
