Welcome to the Clean Mobility Projects & Incentives Workgroup webpage.  This is a workgroup of the Zero-emission Vehicle Equity Task Force and will contain notes from our monthly workgroup meetings, information about the meetings and resources that will be helpful as we develop projects to move forward.

First Workgroup Project Idea:

Consolidate the statewide vehicle needs for community mobility programs focusing on discounted ZEVs in community carshare programs first because discounts can be accessed now.

Background on EJ Values: The Advanced Clean Cars II (ACCII) regulations include specific provisions to encourage automaker actions that support the use of ZEVs in lower-income or disadvantaged communities and households. These are referred to as Environmental Justice Values, and values earned by automakers can contribute towards compliance with the sales requirement.

Workgroup Project: This workgroup will focus on the first EJ Value: selling new ZEVs or PHEVs at a 25% discount to qualifying community-based clean mobility programs. The workgroup project this group will focus on is:

Vision: A public tool to help organizations and automakers find partners interested in community car share provisions in ACC II in order to:

• Establish an equitable process
• Expand network of collaborators
• Understand future vehicle needs across multiple car-sharing programs

End Result: A collaboratively developed website to connect automakers and clean mobility project administrators called the Community Mobility Program Connections Directory
