Public Work Group Meeting to Discuss Clean Mobility Investment Projects: On April 19 via remote access, CARB staff will hold the second public work group meeting to discuss CARB’s clean mobility investment projects, the Fiscal Year 2022-23 clean mobility long-term strategy, the development of the three-year funding projections, and metrics to measure program outcomes and community benefits. Other topics of discussion will include methodologies, timelines, and next steps leading up to the final work group in May 2022.
Public Workshop on 2022 Scoping Plan Update: On April 20 via remote access, CARB will host a public workshop on the 2022 Scoping Plan Update. At this workshop, staff will discuss initial modeling results from the air quality health impacts and economic of both energy analysis of industrial sector sources and natural working lands management scenarios. This workshop is part of a series of workshops CARB is hosting in support of the 2022 Scoping Plan Update and is meant to assess progress towards achieving the 2030 target in Senate Bill (SB) 32 (Pavely, 2006) and lay out a path to achieve carbon neutrality no later than 2045 (SB 100, De León, 2018).
Notice of Incentive Program Advisory Public Meeting: On April 20 via remote access, CARB will hold a public meeting of the Incentives Program Advisory Group (IPAG) to consider updates to the Carl Moyer Program for on-road heavy-duty vehicles as vehicle electrification increases. The public process will be led by Vice Chair Sandra Berg and Board members Davina Hurt and Gideon Kracov where the IPAG will hear from stakeholders on key issues and discuss policy level issues as well as updates for on-road heavy-duty projects in the Carl Moyer Program.
Public Webinar on CARB Programs and Regulations: On April 21 via remote access, CARB will host a public webinar on several new regulatory programs that will aid the State in achieving carbon neutrality. The course will cover requirements for existing, new, and upcoming regulations, proposed program elements, and the regulatory process.
