Enchante Accessories Case Settles for $9,000

During inspections in 2008, undated English Manor and Belle Maison fragrance diffuser products manufactured by Enchante Accessories were found to exceed VOC limit for liquid air freshener products.  During the investigation, it was determined that approximately 8738 containers of the non-complying air freshening products were sold between 2006 and 2008.  In addition, Enchante was found selling La Soie Body Splashes that complied with VOC limits for personal fragrance products, but did not display the date of manufacture.  The company settled both cases on October 30, 2009 with a payment of $9,000.
