Do It Best Corporation Case Settles for $28,000

Between August 2004 and October 2007, Do it Best Corporation supplied "Prestone De-Icer Windshield Washer Fluid -25°F" and "Prestone De-Icer Windshield Washer Fluid -34°F" to multiple Do it Best hardware stores and affiliated hardware stores throughout non-Type A areas of California. The products were all shipped from a Do It Best distribution center located outside of California. After multiple attempts to reach an amicable settlement with Do it Best Corporation by ARB's Consumer Products staff, the case was referred to the ARB Office of Legal Affairs for resolution. The case was settled on February 18, 2009 for $28,000.
