De Anda Trucking LLC Case Settles for $197,425
De Anda Trucking LLC will pay $197,425.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations which will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality. This settlement was reached in August, 2017.
An investigation was conducted by the Air Resources Board (ARB) after multiple citations were written against De Anda Trucking LLC. The investigation revealed that De Anda Trucking LLC failed to bring twenty six of their heavy duty diesel trucks into compliance with the Truck and Bus (TB) Regulation. In addition, De Anda Trucking LLC failed to perform annual smoke inspections on fifteen trucks in 2014 and fourteen trucks in 2015.
To settle the case, De Anda Trucking LLC agreed to the $197,425.00 penalty and to comply with the Truck & Bus regulation, PSIP and other ARB programs.
