Consolidated Container Company LP Case Settles for $25,000
Consolidated Container Company LP, located in Tracy, California, manufactures plastic containers. Air Resources Board (ARB) staff inspected a facility owned and operated by Consolidate Container Company on June 10, 2015, to determine compliance with ARB’s Regulation for the Management of High Global Warming Potential Refrigerants for Stationary Sources (RMP Regulation). The inspection revealed that Consolidated Container Company owns and operates a medium sized refrigeration system with a full charge greater than 200 pounds of a high global warming potential refrigerant and is subject to the requirements of the RMP Regulation. The facility was not registered with ARB as required at the time of inspection. Consolidated Container Company immediately registered and submitted all required reports and fees. Consolidated Container Company agreed to settle this case on March 9, 2016, for a penalty of $25,000.00.
