Cemex Construction Materials Pacific, LLC Case Settles for $15,000.00

In its greenhouse gas emissions report for the year 2011, required under the Regulation for the Mandatory Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions, California Code of Regulations, title 17, section 95100 et seq., Cemex over-reported certain values and included various errors that required corrections after the reporting deadline, and ultimately resulted in an adverse verification statement. Its report was deemed to be free of any material misstatement. Cemex cooperated in ARB’s investigation. To resolve the matter, Cemex agreed to update its Greenhouse Gas Monitoring Plan, and to pay a penalty of $15,000.
