Caparicio Cement Contractors, Inc. Case Settles for $3,750.00
The Caparicio Cement Contractors, Inc., in April of 2009 agreed to pay $3,750. in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund for violating air quality regulations. An investigation by ARB showed Caparicio Cement Contractors, Inc., failed to properly self-inspect their diesel fleet to insure the trucks met state smoke emission standards. ARB documented violations as they related to the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP). To settle this case, Caparicio Cement Contractors, Inc., San Jose agreed to pay the $3,750. penalty and to comply with the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program and other ARB regulations.
