$24,000 in Fines Paid by Bulk Transportation
Bulk Transportation has agreed to pay $24,000 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Fund, for violating air quality regulations. An investigation by the ARB showed that Bulk Transportation failed to properly self-inspect their diesel trucks to assure the trucks met state smoke emission 17 standards. ARB documented violations as they related to the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSI). To settle the case, Bulk Transportation agreed to the $24,000 penalty and to comply with the PSI Program.
