$3,000 in Fines Paid by British Pacific LTD.

During a routine inspection on June 14, 2005, Enforcement Division staff obtained noncompliant
yellow-colored and red-colored, Wavian brand, 20-liter, metal NATO containers with numerous attachable spouts being offered for sale at the Off Road Warehouse retail store in San Diego, California. These NATO containers did not meet the performance standards and administrative requirements in the Portable Fuel Containers and Spouts Regulation. British Pacific Ltd. was the supplier of these NATO containers and was issued a Notice of Violation. On April 11, 2006, this case was amicably settled for $3,000.
