Board Meeting: On June 9 in Sacramento and webcast, the Board will hear the following agenda item: Proposed Advanced Clean Cars II (ACC II) Regulation. The proposed ACC II Regulation is designed to improve public health, air quality, and climate by reducing harmful emissions and pollutants by driving sales of zero emission vehicles and the cleanest-possible plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles in California to 100 percent by 2035.
Public Work Group Meeting on Clean Transportation Equity Investments: On June 9 via remote access, CARB will host the third public work group meeting to discuss clean mobility investment projects and the Fiscal Year 2022-23 update to the three-year plan for clean transportation equity investments. At this meeting, CARB staff will provide an overview on the information provided in the previous two work group meetings, discuss information on a proposal to implement mobility funding based on the Governor’s May Revised Budget, and will open the floor to stakeholders to gather input on long-term plan development.
Public Webinar on Air Regulation Affecting California Public Agencies: On June 9 via remote access, CARB staff is hosting a public webinar to discuss regulations affecting public agencies throughout the state. Staff will discuss compliance requirements that include the On-Road Public Fleet regulation, In-Use Off-Road Diesel Vehicle regulation, Periodic Smoke Inspection program, Portable Equipment Registration program, and idling limitations. This training has been developed to educate public agency employees and fleet managers about basic regulatory requirements for heavy-duty diesel vehicles and to highlight regulations that directly affects public agencies.
Public Workshop on Amendments to Chrome Plating Airborne Toxics Control Measures: On June 9 via remote access, CARB staff will hold a public workshop on the proposed amendments for the Airborne Toxics Control Measure for Chrome Plating and Chromic Acid Anodizing Facilities. Topics covered at this workshop will include the draft amendment language as well as supporting information for the draft amendments. Stakeholders are encouraged to participate and provide feedback.
