Assembly Bill 32 Environmental Justice Advisory Committee Meeting: On June 27-28 via Zoom, CARB will host a public meeting for the Assembly Bill 32 (Núñez, Chapter 488, Statutes of 2006) Environmental Justice Advisory Committee. The committee is comprised of representatives from California communities most heavily impacted by air pollution, including those communities with minority or low-income populations. This upcoming virtual meeting is open to the public and includes a public comment period.
Public Work Group Meeting to Discuss Clean Cars 4 All: On June 28 via remote access, CARB will hold a public work group meeting to discuss policy options for Clean Cars 4 All and Financing Assistance for Lower-income Consumers Project. At this meeting, CARB staff will share policy options and innovative solutions for bringing clean transportation to lower-income and disadvantaged communities.
Public Work Group Meeting on FY 2022-23 Clean Track and Bus Voucher Incentive Project: On June 28 via remote access, CARB staff will hold a second public work group meeting to discuss possible policy changes to the Clean Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project that may be included in the FY 2022-23 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives. Public participation and stakeholder input is strongly encouraged.
Public Webinar on In-Use Off-Road Diesel Vehicle Regulation: On June 30 via remote access, CARB will host a public webinar on the In-Use Off-Road Diesel Vehicle Regulation (Off-Road Regulation). This course will provide detailed information to fleet owners on the Off-Road Regulation and the importance of compliance. The goal of the Off-Road Regulation is to reduce NOx emissions and requires fleet owners to label their off-road vehicles and reduce emissions from their older equipment. This course will cover the applicability of the Off-Road Regulation, current requirements, future compliance deadlines, and an overview of the Diesel Off-Road Online Reporting System.
Notice of Incentive Program Advisory Public Meeting: On June 30 via remote access, CARB will hold a second public meeting of the Incentives Program Advisory Group (IPAG) to consider updates to the Carl Moyer Program for on-road heavy-duty vehicles as vehicle electrification increases. The public process will be led by Vice Chair Sandra Berg and Board members Davina Hurt and Gideon Kracov where the IPAG will hear from stakeholders on key issues and discuss policy level issues as well as updates for on-road heavy-duty projects in the Carl Moyer Program.
