Public Work Group Meeting on Clean Vehicle Rebate Project: On July 6 via remote access, CARB will host a work group meeting to discuss the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-23. Results of the analysis of possible program changes and the impacts on program funding will be presented by staff. Further discussion between stakeholders and CARB staff regarding the possible changes to the three-year plan for CVRP will also resume at this meeting.
Public Workshop on Low Carbon Fuel Standard: On July 7 via remote access, CARB will conduct a public workshop to discuss potential changes to the Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) program. CARB staff will present concepts of the changes as well as options for carbon intensity targets under LCFS. Stakeholder comments will be accepted after the workshop.
Public Meeting for the Research Screening Committee: On July 7 via remote access, CARB will hold a public meeting of the Research Screening Committee (RSC). Mandated by the Board, RSC is responsible for reviewing projects that are funded or potentially funded by CARB and providing recommendations. The committee is comprised of scientists, engineers and individuals with knowledge and experience in the field of air pollution. Current members include Rachel Morello-Frosch, Ph.D., M.P.H., University of California, Berkeley; Suzanne Paulson, Ph.D., University of California, Los Angeles; Alan Vette, Ph.D., U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; Tim Wallington, Ph.D., Ford Motor Company; and Yifang Zhu, Ph.D., University of California, Los Angeles.
