Training Webinar on Diesel Particulate Filter Operations and Maintenance: On February 8 via remote access, CARB staff will hold a training webinar on Diesel Emission Control Strategies as well as diesel particulate filter (DPF) technology. The course will cover health impacts from diesel emissions, diesel emission control technology, DPF construction and application, and the maintenance necessary for successful DPF operation.
Public Workshop on Fiscal Year 2022-23 Update to the Three-Year Plan for Light Duty Vehicles and Clean Transportation Equity Investments: On February 10 via remote access, CARB staff will hold the first public workshop to discuss an update to the three-year plan for light-duty vehicle and clean transportation equity investments. At this workshop, staff will provide an overview on the zero-emission vehicle market and technology assessment as well as an update on CARB’s light-duty vehicle purchase incentive programs.
Assembly Bill 32 Environmental Justice Advisory Committee Virtual Meeting: On February 8 via Zoom, CARB will host a public meeting for the Assembly Bill (AB) 32 (Núñez, Chapter 488, Statutes of 2006) Environmental Justice Advisory Committee. The committee is comprised of representatives from California communities most heavily impacted by air pollution, including those communities with minority or low-income populations. This upcoming virtual meeting is open to the public and includes a public comment period.
Board Meeting: On February 10 via webcast, the Board will hear the following agenda item: (1) consideration of the fourth annual selection of communities via the AB 617 (Garcia Chapter 136, Statutes of 2017) Community Air Protection Program. The Board will also hold an open session for members of the public to address matters within the jurisdiction of the Board.
