Public Workshop to discuss Potential Targeted Enforcement Administrative Modifications Rulemaking: On December 10 via remote access, CARB will host a public workshop to discuss the potential Targeted Enforcement Administrative Modifications (TEAM) rulemaking. The concept of the potential TEAM rulemaking is targeted, administrative modifications to enhance the clarity and enforceability of certain regulations. During the workshop, CARB staff will present on the potential rulemaking and solicit public feedback. The staff presentation will be posted to the TEAM Rulemaking webpage prior to the workshop.
Advanced Clean Truck Regulation Implementation Group Meeting: On December 10 via remote access, CARB will host a public meeting of the Advanced Clean Fleets (ACF) Truck Regulation Implementation Group (TRIG) to discuss rule provisions. CARB adopted the ACF Regulation on April 28, 2023, and it became effective on October 1, 2023. Agenda items to be discussed include: 1. an update on the list of certified medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles (ZEV); 2. a draft of the streamlined ZEV purchase exemption list; 3. frequently asked questions on non-repairable vehicle exemptions; 4. feedback on reporting tools for 2025 ACF reporting; 5. exemption and extension statistics; and 6. next steps. Recordings of recent TRIG meetings are available on the ACF Meetings and Events webpage. The public, including invited manufacturers and upfitters, will have the opportunity to comment and ask questions.
Joint Workshop on Industrial and Commercial Zero-Emission Technologies: On December 11 in Diamond Bar and via remote access, CARB and the South Coast Air Quality Management District will host a joint workshop on industrial and commercial zero-emission technologies. The workshop will include three panel discussions to explore solutions for industrial and commercial sites. The first panel will be on industrial and commercial zero-emission technologies. The second panel will discuss end-user perspectives on transitioning to zero-emission technologies. The third panel will cover zero-emission regulations and incentives. The discussions will draw on perspectives from manufacturers, research, industry, and regulatory agencies.
