Public Meeting on Truck Regulation Advisory Committee: On August 22 in Sacramento and via remote access, CARB will host a public meeting to discuss the formation of a Truck Regulation Advisory Committee (TRAC) for the Advanced Clean Fleets Regulation. The goal of TRAC would be to help fine-tune outreach, training, and strategy implementation. TRAC would also increase awareness of the needs and opinions of affected stakeholders and identify best practices for implementing and facilitating constructive dialogue. Staff will discuss and solicit feedback on TRAC member commitment and expectations, meeting format and schedules, potential subcommittees, and various future topics and activities.
Workgroup Meeting for Fiscal Year 2023-24 Long-Term Heavy-Duty Investment Strategy: On August 22 via remote access, CARB will host a public workgroup on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 Long-Term Heavy-Duty Investment Strategy. This strategy is required under Senate Bill 1403, the California Clean Truck, Bus, and Off-Road Vehicle and Equipment Technology Program and includes an update on school buses operating throughout California. CARB staff will discuss and seek input on the technology and market readiness indicators.
Public Workgroup on Clean Transportation Equity and Light-Duty Vehicle Investments: On August 23 via remote access, CARB will host a public workgroup on topics surrounding clean transportation equity and light-duty vehicle investments. CARB staff will hold this discussion as part of the development of the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Investments.
Assembly Bill 32 Environmental Justice Advisory Committee Meeting: On August 25 in Sacramento, CARB will host a public meeting for the Assembly Bill 32 Environmental Justice Advisory Committee. Those who attend will have the opportunity to make public comment.
