Assembly Bill 32 Environmental Justice Advisory Committee Virtual Meeting: On April 25 and 26 via Zoom, CARB will host public meetings (April 25 and April 26) for the Assembly Bill 32 (Núñez, Chapter 488, Statutes of 2006) Environmental Justice Advisory Committee. The committee is comprised of representatives from California communities most heavily impacted by air pollution, including those communities with minority or low-income populations. This upcoming virtual meeting is open to the public and includes a public comment period.
Public Technical Working Group Meeting on Amendments to Chrome Plating Airborne Toxics Control Measure: On April 26 via remote access, CARB will host the seventh virtual technical working group meeting to discuss the amendments for the Airborne Toxics Control Measure for Chrome Plating and Chromic Acid Anodizing Facilities (Chrome Plating ATCM). Continuing the ongoing conversations with stakeholders, CARB staff will discuss the draft regulatory language for the Chrome Plating ATCM.
Board Meeting: On April 28 via webcast, the Board will hear the following agenda items: (1) an informational update on zero emission vehicle infrastructure; and (2) an informational update on the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Standards Technology Review.
Public Training Webinar on Particulate Filter Operations and Maintenance: On April 28 via remote access, CARB staff will hold a training webinar on Diesel Emission Control Strategies as well as diesel particulate filter (DPF) technology. The course will cover health impacts from diesel emissions, diesel emission control technology, DPF construction and application, and the maintenance necessary for successful DPF operation.
