AVON Products, Inc. Case Settles for $12,300

On September 30, 2010, a settlement was reached with AVON Products, Inc. for selling non-compliant Snowman Reed Diffusers which were subject to the VOC limit for (liquid/pump spray) Air Freshener category specified in Title 17, CCR, section 94509(a).  AVON Products, Inc. was also cited for failure to display a date code on these products, which is a violation of Title 17, CCR section 94512(b)(1).  The company paid $12,300 to settle this case.
