California Air Resources Board

The California Air Resource Board (CARB or Board) is releasing staff’s review of the Assembly Bill 617 community emissions reduction program for the San Bernardino, Muscoy community titled “San Bernardino, Muscoy Community Emissions Reduction Program Staff Report”.

A local CARB hearing that allows community members to speak directly to the Board is a critical aspect of Board consideration of the community emissions reduction program. Therefore, CARB will schedule a future meeting in the community on an appropriate date that can provide for full community participation. Once a date for the meeting has been determined, a public notice will be released and a docket will be opened for the public to submit comments. In the interim, any inquiries regarding this item should be directed to Laura Zaremba-Schmidt at (626) 459‑4394.  Additionally, CARB will work with the community steering committee and the South Coast AQMD to implement the community emissions reduction program guided by the recommendations in CARB’s staff report that are designed to further strengthen the actions identified in the community emissions reduction program.
