America West Tour and Charter, Inc. Case Settles for $9,000

America West Tour and Charter, Inc. will pay $9,000.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $9,000 will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality. This settlement was reached in May, 2017.

An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that America West Tour and Charter, Inc. failed to bring three of their vehicles into compliance with the applicable in-use performance standards. ARB documented violations as they related to the Truck and Bus (TB) Regulation. To settle the case, America West Tour and Charter, Inc. agreed to the $9,000.00 penalty and to comply with TB and other ARB programs
