Afam Concept Incorporated Case Settles for $5,550

A case was settled with Afam Concept Incorporated on June 18, 2014 for selling undated hair styling products into California that exceeded the 6 percent by weight for “Hair Styling Product: aerosol and pump sprays” standard specified in Title 17, CCR, section 94509(a). The products were sold from 2012 to 2013 and resulted in 0.183 tons of excess VOC emissions attributable to the violation. Afam Concept Incorporated paid $5,550 to settle the case.
