ABS Logistics Management, Inc. Case Settles for $42,700
ABS Logistics Management Inc. has agreed to pay $42,700.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations; $32,025 will be paid to the Air Pollution Control Fund and $10,675 will be paid to the Peralta Community College District for distribution to participating California Council on Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) colleges. This settlement was reached in July 2014.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that ABS Logistics Management Inc failed to comply with the Drayage Truck regulation by dispatching and owning drayage trucks not compliant with the emissions standards set forth in the Drayage Truck Regulation. To settle the case, ABS Logistics Management, Inc. has agreed to the $42,700.00 penalty and to comply with the Drayage Truck regulation and other ARB applicable regulations.
