Wahl Clipper Corporation Case Settles for $3,500

On June 25, 2012, a case was settled with / Wahl Clipper Corporation/ SOMA Hair Technology for selling “SOMA Voluminize Thermal Spray” subject to the VOC limit for Hair Styling Products: Aerosol and Pump Sprays, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 6 percent by weight VOC limit. There were approximately 0.06 tons of excess emissions. The company paid $3,500 to settle the case.
