VP Racing Fuels, Inc. Case Settles for $1,050.00

In December 2012, VP Racing Fuels paid $1,050 in penalties for the sale, offer for sale, supply, or offer for supply of imported high octane unleaded gasoline in violation of California reformulated gasoline regulations. On June 10, 2010 the Enforcement Division obtained a sample of the gasoline from an imported railcar. The predictive model limit set by VP for total aromatics was 10.4% vol. CARB’s analysis was 12.3% vol. which exceeded the set value. Approximately, 437 gallons of violating fuel was sold.
