Vered Cosmetique, Inc. Company Case Settles for $4,000

Vered Cosmetique, Inc. (Gardena, California) sold, supplied, and/or offered for sale a non-compliant Hair Styling Product: aerosol and pump spray product in California, which contained concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOC) that exceeded the standards specified in title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). This product was sold from January 2015 to January 2018, and resulted in 0.34 tons of excess VOC emissions, attributable to the violation. To come into compliance, Vered Cosmetique, Inc. immediately removed the products from the market place, and will not be selling this product in the future.
