Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc. Settles For $62,000
In October 2026, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) reached a settlement with Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc. (VPPS), with its principal location in Stockton, California, for the company’s violation of the Alternative Diesel Fuels Regulation (ADF Regulation), as codified in California Code of Regulations, title 13, section 2293 et seq.
An investigation conducted by CARB Enforcement Division staff showed that VPPS violated the ADF Regulation by blending, supplying, or selling unmitigated biodiesel blends for 12 of the quarters between Quarter 3 of 2021 and Quarter 4 of 2024. To settle the case, VPPS agreed to the penalty of $62,000.
Terms of the settlement include a requirement for VPPS to comply with all federal, State, and local regulations going forward. VPPS worked cooperatively with CARB staff to quickly resolve this matter and implemented additional measures to reduce the potential of any future violations.
