Zero-Emission Showcase + Ride & Drive Event

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) and CALSTART are sponsoring a free Zero-Emission Truck and Off-Road Equipment Showcase + Ride & Drive event on April 29, 2026, at the Pechanga Arena, 3500 Sports Arena Blvd., San Diego, CA 92110. 

What to expect: 

• Test drive zero-emission medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks and off-road equipment.
• Become familiar with the various zero-emission technologies. 
• Past Ride and Drive events have featured over 70 Class 2b-8 trucks, buses, vans, and off-road equipment.
• Receive information on incentive opportunities and the Cal Fleet Advisor technical assistance program.
• CARB staff will be available to answer questions on programs including Advanced Clean Fleets applicable to state and local government fleets, Clean Truck Check, and Off-Road Diesel, among others.
• Free parking available for attendees

Tribal Community Workshop: Zero-Emission Bus Workforce Development Roadmap

Calling California Tribal leaders, tribal representatives, tribal-transportation serving entities, and workforce development advocates serving California Native communities and Urban Indian Centers!

The GO-Biz and UCLA Labor Center are creating a workforce roadmap to support California's transition to zero-emission buses (ZEBs). This virtual Tribal Community Workshop is your opportunity to voice the workforce needs, training opportunities, and transportation priorities within Native communities. We want to discuss everything from ZEB training and infrastructure jobs to economic opportunities and Tribal transit models.
