Ultramar, Inc., a Valero Company, Case Settles for $15,000.00

In June 2011, Valero paid $15,000 in penalties for the sale, offer for sale, supply, or offer for supply of diesel fuel in violation of the California diesel fuel regulations. In March of 2008 Valero certified a batch of diesel fuel using the Designated Alternative Limit option but did not notify ARB, as required by the regulation.
