True Value Company Case Settles for $10,100

Between December 2011 and January 2015, the True Value Company supplied two non-compliant automotive windshield washer fluid products to California that were in violation of VOC limits contained in ARB’s Consumer Product Regulations for the mountainous areas of the state. The sale of the product resulted in 0.52 tons of excess VOC emissions. True Value immediately stopped selling the products and revised their computer system to prevent future sale of non-compliant consumer products. The case was settled on September 2, 2015 for $10,100.
