Trafigura Beheer B.V. Amsterdam Case Settles for $10,000

Trafigura Beheer B.V. Amsterdam has paid $10,000.00 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on February 13, 2012. An investigation by the ARB showed that the Trafigura Beheer B.V. Amsterdam vessel Jin Feng, failed to operate on compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters. To settle the case, Trafigura Beheer B.V. Amsterdam agreed to the $10,000.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
