Total Import Solutions, Inc. Settles For $10,000
In September 2025, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) reached a settlement with Total Import Solutions, Inc. (Total Import), with its principal location in Santa Fe Springs, California, for the company’s violation of the Regulation for Reducing Emissions from Consumer Products (Consumer Products Regulation), as codified in California Code of Regulations, title 17, sections 94507-94517.
An investigation conducted by CARB staff revealed that Total Import failed to meet the VOC requirements in the Standards for Consumer Products (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 17, § 94509).
Total Import fully cooperated with CARB to resolve this matter. Terms of the settlement include a requirement for Total Import to comply with all other CARB regulations going forward. The total civil penalty amount of $10,000 will be deposited into CARB’s Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality.
