Therm-O-Web, Inc. Case Settles for $15,125

On April 29, 2014, a case was settled with Therm-O-Web for manufacturing for sale in California non-compliant cans of “Spray ‘N’ Bond Fusible Adhesive” subject to the 55% VOC limit for Web Spray Adhesive category, and “Spray ‘N’ Bond Basting Spray” subject to the 65% VOC limit for Mist Spray Adhesive category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). These products contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the percent by weight VOC limit for their respective categories. The products emitted approximately 0.82 tons of excess emissions. The company paid $15,125.00 to settle the case.
