Thenamaris Ship Management Inc. Case Settles for $6,000

Thenamaris Ship Management Inc. paid $6,000.00 in penalties to the California Air Resources Board, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on May 15, 2014. An investigation by the ARB showed that the Thenamaris Ship Management Inc. vessel Sea King, failed to operate on compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters in 2013. Thenamaris Ship Management Inc. took prompt action after being notified of these violations and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion. To settle the case, Thenamaris Ship Management Inc. agreed to the $6,000.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
