Thalgo America Company Company Case Settles for $2,250

A case was settled with Thalgo America (Sunrise, Florida) for selling an Air Freshener: liquid/pump spray product in California, which contained concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOC) that exceeded the standards specified in title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). Thalgo paid $2250 in penalties which represents three days of violation. To come into compliance, Thalgo removed the Air Freshener: liquid/pump spray product from the market and is no longer selling this product in California.
