Tracking the Deployment of Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage Technologies

This nationwide list provides information about projects that may provide valuable insight into how the technology is being developed and deployed.  These technologies are expected to play an important role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) to help the state achieve carbon neutrality by 2045. This page list serves as a preliminary informational tool to support public awareness and transparency around CCUS/CDR projects. The list of projects and is compiled from publicly available data sources, including: 

• Environmental impact reports and CEQA filings 

• Local air district authority permit applications 

• Federal and state agency databases 

• Public announcements and project disclosures
