Summary

Would have stated the intent of the Legislature to adopt a policy framework for funding COVID-19 recovery efforts, including that expenditures would provide climate‑based solutions consistent with the urgency of the climate crisis and the need to make rapid and sustained reductions in greenhouse gases consistent with statewide emissions reduction targets and recommendations from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.  Was not heard in the Assembly Natural Resources Committee.
