Sullivans USA, Inc. and Sprayway, Inc. Case Settles for $5,475.00

On December 30, 2013, a case was settled with Sullivan’sUSA and Sprayway, Inc. for selling and manufacturing for sale “Sullivan’s Basting Spray” subject to the VOC limit for Mist Spray Adhesives, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 65 percent by weight VOC limit. There were approximately 0.12 tons of excess emissions. In addition, the companies failed to provide the VOC category and standard limit on the container label. The companies paid $5,475.00 to settle the case.
