Stellar Group Case Settles for $6,000

Between December 2011 and January 2013, Stellar Group supplied to California their Dr. Tranny Kooler Kleen product that was in violation the 45% VOC limit for Electrical Cleaners. The label on the product inadvertently stated that the product could be used as an electrical cleaner. The company immediately ceased sales and has revised the label to indicate that the product is solely to be used as a transmission flush product. Approximately 0.4 tons of excess emissions resulted from the violation. The case was settled on July 23, 2014 for $6,000.
