Spirit Halloween Superstores, LLC Case Settles for $15,500.00

On June 12, 2013, a Consumer Products case was settled with Spirit Halloween Superstores, LLC for selling and/or supplying non-compliant Temporary Hair Colors. These products contributed to 0.9 tons excess Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emissions due to exceeding the 55% by weight VOC limit set under Consumer Products Regulation for Temporary Hair Color specified in Title 17, CCR, section 94509(a). Spirit Halloween Superstores, LLC paid $15,500 to settle this case.
