Sparetime Supply Settlement
Sparetime Supply Case Settles for $3,000
On February 10, 2010, a case was settled with Sparetime Supply for re-labeling Prescription Treatment Pyrethrum TR with a sticker which indicted “For Home Use.” The product was sold in a retail outlet as an insecticide fogger, but did not meet the aerosol insecticide fogger 45 percent by weight volatile organic compound limit effective January 1, 1995, Title 17, of the Consumer Products Regulation. The product was originally manufactured for use by agriculture and by commercial greenhouses. Sparetime Supply made a payment of $3,000 to settle the case.
