Welcome to your resource for exploring approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Gaseous Criteria Pollutants for monitoring organizations (MO) within CARB’s Primary Quality Assurance Organization (PQAO).
SOPs are organized by gaseous criteria pollutant: CO, NO2, O3, and SO2. SOPs for each pollutant outline procedures for operating and maintaining air monitoring instruments and ensure accurate measurement of the pollutant.
Approved quality management documents* within CARB's PQAO are shown based on their origin:
- A#: Addendum number assigned to an addendum developed by a monitoring organization and approved by CARB.
- CARB: Developed and approved by CARB.
- MO: Developed by a monitoring organization within CARB's PQAO and approved by CARB.
