Sir Gauuan International Case Settles for $3,000.00

On May 28, 2013, a case was settled with Sir Gauuan International, Inc. for selling “Sir Gauuan Classic Shiny Shape” subject to the VOC limit for Hair Styling Products: Aerosol and Pump Sprays”, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 6 percent by weight VOC limit. There were approximately 0.16 tons of excess emissions. The company paid $3,000 to settle the case.
