The Sherwin-Williams Company Case Settles for $6,750.00
A Consumer Products case was settled on December 20, 2012 with The Sherwin-Williams Company for allowing non-compliant “Fabulon Wood Floor Cleaner” to be sold into the state of California between 2008 and 2010. This product exceeded the 4% by weight VOC limit set under Consumer Products Regulation for non-aerosol wood cleaning product specified in title 17, California Code of Regulations (CCR), section 94509(a). The Sherwin-Williams Company paid $6,750 to settle the case.
