Selective Imports Corp. Case Settles for $16,000

On June 26, 2016, a Consumer Products case, CP15-09-04, was settled with Selective Imports Corp. for selling, supplying or offering for sale a non‑compliant nail polish remover product between January 2012 and November 2014.  This product, Sedoso Nail Polish Remover – Acetone Lemon, exceeded the 1% Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) limit for “Nail Polish Remover” category and resulted in 1.22 tons excess VOC emissions.  Selective Imports has agreed to pay $16,000.00 to settle this case.
