Scepter Manufacturing, LLC. Settles For $3,960.00

In July 2019, a case was settled with Scepter Manufacturing, LLC. (SCEPTER) of Miami, Oklahoma.  CARB Enforcement Division inspections discovered portable fuel containers (PFC) that did not have a CARB Executive Order embossed on the container, making them in violation of California Code of Regulations, title 13, section 2467.5.  SCEPTER was penalized for this violation, and agreed to pay a $2.00 per-unit penalty resulting in a total penalty amount of $3,960.00.  SCEPTER is now in compliance with the California regulation.
